Gregory Ramos to Lead Armstrong Teasdale’s Denver Office
Armstrong Teasdale announces that Partner Gregory J. Ramos has been named managing attorney of the firm’s Denver office, effective June 11, 2024. He was also recently elected to serve a two-year term on the firm’s Executive Committee.
Armstrong Teasdale’s Denver office opened in 2014 with the acquisition of a Denver-based firm. The firm’s broader footprint includes 18 offices internationally and more than 680 lawyers and business professionals.
Office managing attorneys are charged with driving growth and success in coordination with the firm’s overall strategic vision as determined by firmwide leadership and Managing Partner Richard Engel.

Ramos has more than 25 years of experience helping companies large and small execute on their strategic vision through mergers and acquisitions, strategic business transactions, corporate reorganization and succession planning. In that time, he has closed more than 90 M&A transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $13 billion, and numerous private offerings aggregating hundreds of millions of dollars. Clients have also leveraged Ramos’s experience in technology transactions, particularly software and information technology services, to secure mission-critical technology valued in the billions of dollars.

Ramos will share key insights as part of Armstrong Teasdale’s annual M&A series on July 9. He and co-presenter Zack Gibson of Class VI Partners will discuss how to best prepare for a transformational divestiture.
Ramos provides comprehensive counsel at every stage of a company’s development, advising on entity organization and governance, strategic investments, information technology issues, commercial transactions, all the way to corporate succession and exit. He has represented numerous cable television providers, including the largest in the United States, as well as many other types of companies, including public and privately owned entities, energy companies, construction companies, real estate companies and nonprofits. Further, Ramos is a qualified expert on limited liability companies and professional ethics for the Denver District Court and regularly lectures on corporate, technology and ethics matters.
Ramos earned recognition from M&A Advisor at the 2024 Annual M&A Awards, which recognizes leading transactions, firms and individuals that represent the highest levels of performance. His work on the sale of long-time client Bron Tapes to a private equity firm was selected for recognition in the Materials Deal of the Year and Private Equity Deal of the Year (between $75MM - $100MM) categories.
Active in the broader professional community, Ramos is a member of the Denver Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association and American Bar Association. He also sits on the University of Colorado’s Law Alumni Board of Directors.
