McPherson was recognized for his community service, including leadership as chair of the Attorneys Against Hunger Committee and the Missouri High School Mock Trial Competition. He is the president of the board of Rebuilding Together St. Louis (which coordinates teams of volunteers to perform home repairs for low-income veterans, seniors, and persons with disabilities) and a board member of the Webster Groves School District Foundation (which provides grants to innovative teachers and scholarships to students). McPherson is a Fellow of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers. He has represented clients in over 200 appeals of all kinds since 1995.
Doherty was honored with the John C. Doherty is a litigation associate who represents clients in tort cases, contract disputes and real estate matters. She performs a significant amount of pro bono work in both Missouri and Illinois and is a leader in the bar.
