Kansas City Business Journal’s 2017 “Best of the Bar” Recognizes Two Armstrong Teasdale Attorneys
Armstrong Teasdale partner Tyson H. Ketchum has been named among the 2017 “Best of the Bar” by the Kansas City Business Journal.
Lawyers with at least 10 years of practice are reviewed by a panel of judges selected by the Business Journal, and honorees are selected based on factors such as professional reputation, involvement in significant cases or transactions and civic involvement.
Ketchum is an experienced litigator, primarily focusing on employment discrimination, insurance coverage, personal injury and commercial litigation cases. His practice is unique in that he has handled high-stakes cases for clients involving many different areas of law. Ketchum has tried cases to verdict before courts in Missouri and Kansas and has argued before the Missouri Supreme Court, Missouri Court of Appeals and U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit. He also serves as deputy general counsel at Armstrong Teasdale.
He has also been named among the “Best of the Bar” by the Kansas City Business Journal for multiple years. Ketchum is a member of The Missouri Bar, Kansas Bar Association, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers and Downtown Council of Kansas City, where he serves on the board of directors.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law and B.S. from Truman State University.
Ketchum will be featured in a special edition of the Business Journal on Oct. 27, and honored at the “Best of the Bar” reception Nov. 2.
