Robert D. Klahr, Matthew J. Reh Named Armstrong Teasdale Practice Group Leaders

March 7, 2016 Press Releases

Armstrong Teasdale, a law firm with offices across the United States and in China, is proud to announce that new leaders have been selected to oversee two of the firm’s core legal areas. Robert D. Klahr is taking the helm of the Financial and Real Estate Services practice group, and Matthew J. Reh is heading the Litigation practice group. Both new appointees are based in the firm’s St. Louis office.

In their new roles, they will act as directors below the firm’s managing partner, and will work directly with members of their respective strategic areas to help strengthen planning, execution, and operational practices.

Litigation, the firm’s largest practice group, has more than 100 members and showcases the firm’s abilities across a wide range of subject matters including technology, employment and labor, real estate and products liability. Financial and Real Estate Services, which has more than 30 members, combines the deep experience and skill of attorneys from areas including banking, public finance and financial restructuring, bankruptcy and reorganization, development, construction, land use and real estate brokerage.

“Armstrong Teasdale understands the importance of new ideas and encourages our partners to take active leadership roles in both the practice and business sides of the law,” said Michael A. Chivell, the firm’s managing partner. “Well-respected by both their colleagues and clients, Rob and Matt have each established reputations for their innovative thinking and strong leadership capacity.”
