Biography
Katherine Vojas focuses her practice on litigation and defending major hospitals, doctors, nurses and other professionals against claims of medical malpractice. A member of the firm’s award-winning Mass Tort and Catastrophic Loss practice area, she also defends clients in litigation alleging catastrophic injuries as a result of product liability and premises liability.
Katie works with clients in every stage of litigation, spanning state and federal jurisdictions. She formulates defense strategies, motion procedures, discovery processes, settlement negotiations, trial proceedings and appeals. Katie regularly conducts depositions for both fact and expert witnesses. She is also skilled in the seamless management and coordination of intricate litigation matters on behalf of clients.
Katie has appeared in various Illinois and Missouri state courts and has tried two cases to verdict in the City of St. Louis.
Background
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Katie was a litigation associate at a midsize St. Louis law firm. She also previously served as a law clerk at a St. Louis personal injury law firm.
