Armstrong Teasdale Promotes U.K. Lawyers Molly Ahmed, Emma Shaw
Armstrong Teasdale announces that Molly Ahmed has been promoted to Of Counsel and Emma Shaw has been promoted to Senior Associate Solicitor, effective 31 August 2022. Both sit in the firm’s London office.
Ahmed has extensive experience litigating a broad range of international commercial disputes. Her diverse background across service areas, including finance and banking, corporate, M&A, private equity, employment, technology and IP litigation, enables her to provide guidance in multifaceted, high-value commercial disputes, often across multiple jurisdictions.
With nearly two decades of experience, she represents clients in matters involving corporate governance, fraud claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, High Court employment disputes, regulatory investigations and corporate transactional claims. Ahmed also has experience in the financial services sector and in international arbitration, often assisting foreign law firms in obtaining and establishing evidence in English jurisdictions.
Shaw advises on corporate and commercial disputes across a broad range of sectors. She acts for both claimants and defendants in a wide variety of High Court and arbitral proceedings. She also has extensive experience in defending actions in the Court of Appeal.
With particular strength in contentious sport matters, Shaw advises high-profile clients including The All England Lawn Tennis Club (Wimbledon), football clubs and rugby unions on the enforcement of ticket terms and conditions. She also has considerable experience in civil contempt proceedings against individuals who breach Court orders, including three successful outcomes before the Court of Appeal. Shaw was recognised among The U.K. Legal 500 for Sport in 2020, and as a Rising Star in 2022, for her enthusiasm, industry knowledge and client management.
