Biography
Sydney Johnson is a trial attorney in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group, focusing on complex patent, trademark and copyright disputes. She represents a wide array of clients, including those involved in the telecommunications, biometrics, defense technologies and agricultural sciences industries.
Sydney manages disputes across federal district and appellate courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and the International Trade Commission. She is integral to every phase of litigation, from pre-suit to discovery to trial. Sydney has been a key member of multiple trial teams in high-stakes jury trials. Her experience extends beyond settlements or judgments, assisting with indemnification, post-trial proceedings and appeals.

Background
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale full time, Sydney served as a teaching assistant for Patent Law and Policy at the University of Missouri School of Law. In addition, Sydney worked as a summer associate for another St. Louis area law firm, assisting with litigation matters involving pharmaceuticals and toxic torts.
