Successful Representation of Marijuana Law Client in Administrative Proceeding in Colorado
Successfully represented a client with a retail cultivation license in an administrative proceeding brought by the Colorado Attorney General’s Office and the Marijuana Enforcement Division. The client had been under a Summary Suspension and Rule to Show Cause Order for three months and was a few weeks from being evicted from his facility. We quickly secured a meeting with the government representatives and negotiate a resolution of the Show Cause that included no fine and minimal absence from the industry, which was the client’s primary objective.
Secured Withdrawal of OSHA Citations for Manufacturing Client
Defended company that received two willful citations under OSHA lead standard when manufacturing with leaded brass. OSHA withdrew both willful citations.
Secured Withdrawal of OSHA Citations Relating to Hexavalent Chrome Standard
Defended company that received 14 citations under OSHA's hexavalent chrome standard, including alleged exceedance of PEL. OSHA withdrew 12 of 14 citations.
Multimillion-Dollar Sale of Agricultural Processing Company
Represented client in multimillion-dollar sale of agricultural processing company to national food services company. Representation included resolution of matter related to transfer of special Missouri agricultural tax credits.
Obtained Securities Registration Exemption in Construction of New Mill
Assisted client with obtaining securities registration exemption for Missouri new generation processing entities for purpose of construction of new mill. Worked with Missouri Agricultural and Small Business Development Authority and the Missouri Securities Division to secure the exemption paving the way for capital formation necessary for construction of a new facility.

Successfully defended and resolved a number of class action lawsuits against major corporations brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) for alleged violations of the provisions of the FCRA applicable to employment background checks.
