Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale in 1986, Diane had nine years of experience as an attorney with Missouri state government. During a two-year period on the staff of the Missouri House of Representatives, she was extensively involved in the drafting of Missouri’s Omnibus Nursing Home Act of 1979.
While employed as an attorney by the Missouri Department of Social Services, Diane represented the agency in matters involving Medicaid reimbursement, institutional and professional licenses, Medicaid eligibility of individuals and services for the elderly and handicapped. She also served for six months as acting director of the Missouri Division of Aging.
