Armstrong Teasdale a Winner in 14th Annual International M&A Awards
Armstrong Teasdale has been named a winner in the M&A Advisor’s 14th Annual International M&A Awards. Partner and Las Vegas Office Managing Attorney Alicia Ashcraft was awarded for her representation of Gravitas Nevada Ltd., a vertically integrated cannabis company, in the sale of various business operations to Jushi Holdings Inc., a Canada-based cannabis company. The transaction was previously recognized as a finalist in the 21st Annual M&A Advisor Awards in the Consumer Staples Deal of the Year (between $10MM - $100MM) category.
An independent judging panel of industry experts evaluated nominations representing over 250 individual companies from across the world with deals valued from $10 million to tens of billions.
Ashcraft has more than 20 years of experience representing clients in highly regulated industries such as cannabis and hemp, gaming, liquor and transportation services. She advises businesses through all phases of operation – from startups, through financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, land use and licensing. Ashcraft has significant experience handling a variety of complex commercial transactions, including entity selection and formation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and real estate.
