Armstrong Teasdale Recognized for Support of National Guard, Reserve Employees
Armstrong Teasdale has been awarded a Seven Seals Award by the Colorado Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Committee in recognition of the firm’s significant organizational support for employees in the National Guard and Reserve.
The firm was nominated for the award by Partner and Veterans and Military Service Group Co-Leader Michael Freimann. Michael is the state staff judge advocate for the Colorado Air National Guard and holds the rank of colonel. In this role, he acts as the general counsel for commanders and first sergeants providing advice and guidance on a wide range of military legal issues, rooted in more than 20 years of legal experience. In his civilian capacity, Michael assists military members facing courts-martial, administrative boards and any other disciplinary and administrative issues. He also maintains Top Secret Security Clearance.
Partner Robert Reeser co-leads the Veterans and Military Service Group with Michael, which joins veterans, active service members or retirees, family members of veterans, and allies for military service. The group provides opportunities for professional and personal growth through active discussion, sponsorship, client engagement and community outreach.
“We recognize the important roles our lawyers and staff, and their family members, hold in support of the nation’s defense,” said Chief Human Resources Officer Julie Paul. “We want to ensure they have the necessary support to succeed at work as well as in the armed services.”
Established in 1972, ESGR is the lead U.S. Defense Department program promoting cooperation and understanding between civilian employers and their National Guard and Reserve employees.
The award will be presented at a dinner on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
