Beverly Weber Selected for 2023 Leadership Kansas Class
Armstrong Teasdale Partner Beverly M. Weber has been selected by the Kansas Chamber for its 2023 Leadership Kansas class. The program is focused on developing and motivating Kansas leaders from across the state. Weber was selected from more than 600 nominations for the 40-member class.
Throughout the seven-month program, the class interacts with a variety of experts and community leaders through three-day educational training sessions. The diverse discussion topics include business, education, agriculture, public policy, societal health, economic development and government.
A member of the firm’s Financial and Real Estate Services practice group with nearly 20 years of experience, Weber handles contentious matters, primarily in Missouri and Kansas, at both the trial and appellate levels in state and federal court. Her matters often involve banking, real estate, consumer lending, creditors’ rights, insurance defense, probate litigation and business law, handling both the front-end transactional components as well as in litigation when relationships among parties break down.
Active in the professional and charitable communities, Weber holds various additional leadership roles, including as Vice Chair of the Real Estate Practice and Procedure Committee for The Missouri Bar. She is also involved with the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (Board Member); Missouri Bankers Association (Bank Counsel Advisory Board Member); Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City (Former Executive Committee Member; Past President); American Heart Association Circle of Red, Kansas City; Central Exchange Education Foundation (Former Executive Committee); Lucy’s Kids for Peace (Co-founder); PEO International (Leawood Chapter); and Red Hot Night, benefiting the Children’s Mercy Research Institute (Board Member).
