Armstrong Teasdale, a law firm with offices across the United States, proudly announces the addition of Partner Edward F. Behm to the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group in Philadelphia. Behm has substantial experience in all aspects of IP practice, including the preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patents, trademarks and copyrights; the litigation of patent, trademark, trade dress, trade secret, copyright, domain name and contractual matters; and the counseling of clients in intellectual property opinion, transactional, and capitalization and acquisition matters.

In addition, Behm has significant experience in representing clients in reexamination, reissue and Inter Partes review proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He also counsels both established and startup companies in all phases of intellectual property-related transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, IP valuations and fundraising strategies.

“Having Ted join the firm greatly strengthens our ability to serve the IP needs of our East Coast clients,” said Patrick W. Rasche, Intellectual Property practice group leader. “We’re looking forward to further growing our Philadelphia IP team.”

Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Behm was partner and chair of the patent practice at another Philadelphia firm.
